Nectarine And Kiwi Inspired Makeup Look

Everyone loves summer and so do we!! That's why we have decided to base some of our looks on FRUIT!!! Yes...you can stop rubbing your eyes - you read correctly! We have quite a few looks inspired by fruit.

Now, these are not looks that you would wear on a daily basis...unless you really wanted to. You could call these looks "trends".

This specific blog is about two of our fruity looks - the Nectarine and Kiwi. I personally love these looks because they are very bright and also quite similar.

There are 5 different sections; Nectarine and Kiwi Face, Nectarine Eyes, Nectarine Lips, Kiwi Eyes and Kiwi Lips.

Enough of the chit chat!!! Lets get started!!

  1. Get your makeup and tools ready for use, for this you would need;

AA Golden Ceramides Youth Elixir Serum as a primer

High Definition Face and Eyes Lightening Concealer

The Glitter Show Eyeshadow Palette

The Neons Eyeshadow Palette

Hean Luxury Gel Eyeliner

Never Be Better Coverage Foundation

Matte All Day Compact Fixing Powder

Hean Sculpting Facial Palette

Let’s Blush Contour – 403 Rose Anaise

Hean Strobing Facial Palette – shade Silver Shine

Hypoallergenic Eye Pencil – 301 Ecru

Wild Cat Mascara

Lip Crayon – 04 Pink Nude

Bevel Sponge

10pcs Black and Gold Kabuki Brush Set

NECTARINE AND KIWI FACE:

  1. Start by Priming the face with the AA Golden Ceramides Youth Elixir Serum as a primer – you can either use the dripper to put the product onto your hands and then your face, or straight onto your face. – just remember to rub it in to your entire face and neck.
  2. Since your face is already properly prepped with primer, get your Never Be Better Coverage Foundation and apply using the dropper straight to your face – cheeks, forehead, chin and a small drop on your nose.
  3. Blend it out on your face with your Bevel Sponge.
  4. Time to conceal!! Grab your High Definition Face and Eyes Lightening Concealer and apply under your eye’s – in a triangular shape -, in the middle of your forehead, down the centre of your nose, on your chin and just on your lip line (only the top – cupids bow).
  5. Now, using your flat top Foundation Kabuki Brush set you’re entire face with the Matte All Day Compact Fixing Powder.
  6. Grab your Hean Sculpting Facial Palette and your Big Dome Kabuki Brush and apply the brown shade in your contour area’s – the hollow of your cheeks, down the sides of your nose and along your hairline.
  7. For your blusher, use your Big Angled Dome Kabuki Brush and dip into your Let’s Blush Contour, shade 403 twice - Trust me, do two dips at a time, this product is super pigmented – and apply to the apple of your cheek and upward to your temple. We used the shade Rose Anaise for Emma, but you can use which ever colour you prefer.
  8. Time to be noticed all the way from the Milky way – Using your Big Pointed Kabuki Brush, apply which ever colour you prefer in the Hean Strobing Facial Palette just a little bit higher than your blush, down the centre of your nose and on your cupid bow.
  9. Using our Eyebrow Pencil, fill in your brow’s. For this, you need to remember my biggest rule – LESS IS MORE. Seeing as your eye and lip make up is super heavy, try doing your brows a little bit lighter than you usually would.

NECTARINE EYES:

  1. Put a little bit of the High Definition Face and Eyes Lightening Concealer on your eyelid. Blend this onto the entire eyelid, all the way up until your brow.
  2. Use your flat top Foundation Kabuki Brush to set the concealer with the Matte All Day Compact Fixing Powder.
  3. Grab your Round Top Eyeshadow Kabuki Brush and your Glitter Show Eyeshadow Palette. Dab your brush into the colour closest to your skin tone – this will be your transition colour. We used the lightest colour.
  4. Now, using the same Round Top Eyeshadow Kabuki Brush, dip into the light pink in your Neons Eyeshadow Palette and put this on the whole eyelid, from your crease down to your lash line.
  5. Using your Round Top Angled Eyeshadow Kabuki Brush dip twice into the Bright red eyeshadow in your Neons Eyeshadow Palette. Blend this into your crease. It needs to be a little lower than the light pink. The red also needs to go into the outer-v of your eyelid.
  6. Now you can use your figure to pick up some of the shimmery brownish colour in the Neons Eyeshadow Palette – this is just to the left of the light pink. Place this on your eyelid from your inner corner, to the beginning of your outer-v.
  7. Your last colour for the eyes is the yellow. Use your finger again to dab a little bit of yellow in the centre of your lid. Add as much as you want to, to create an even brighter look.
  8. Now,  pick up your Pointed Eyeshadow Kabuki Brush. Dip into the red and apply it as close to your waterline as possible.
  9. Do the same with the yellow.
  10. Using your Hypoallergenic Eye Pencil – 301 Ecru, apply it to your waterline. This gives the illusion that your eyes are bigger.
  11. Take your Wild Cat Mascara and make those eyes pop by applying it only to your top Lash Line.

NECTARINE LIPS:

  1. Now for those gorgeous Ombre Lips; Apply your Lip Crayon – 06 Red the way you would apply lip liner, except, go a little bit in towards the centre of your lips.
  2. You thought you were done with the Neons Eyeshadow Palette, but you’re not!! Apply the Brown peachy colour, which you used on your eyes, onto the part of your lips where there isn't any lipstick.
  3. Add a smidge of yellow to the very middle of your lips.

KIWI EYES:

  3. To add some colour to your eyes, take out your Round Top Eyeshadow Kabuki Brush and your Glitter Show Eyeshadow Palette. Dip your brush into the colour closest to your skin tone – this will be your transition colour. We used the lightest colour.
  4. Using the same Round Top Eyeshadow Kabuki Brush, pick up some of the brown – in the middle of your Glitter Show Eyeshadow Palette – and blend it a little tighter into your crease. It should be just below your transition colour on your eyelid. – remember to only use a little, just one soft dip will be perfect.
  5. Continue to use your Angled Round Top Eyeshadow Kabuki Brush and dip it into the dark green in your Neons Eyeshadow Palette. Blend this onto your outer-v, along your crease and on your Inner corner. There should be a spot in the middle of your eyelid with minimal eyeshadow on it.
  6. Use your finger to pick up the light green – almost pastel green – from your Neons Eyeshadow Palette. Apply this to the centre of your eyelid without putting it across your entire eyelid.
  7. Repeat the above step with the white from you Neons Eyeshadow Palette. This time make sure to only put it in the very centre of the light green. Now you should be able to see all of the eyeshadow colours.
  8. Get a tooth pick or a kebab stick and your Black Gel Eyeliner for this next step. You’re going to make black dots (kiwi seeds) around the light green and white eyeshadow. Don’t worry if they’re not perfect – they never are in the kiwi’s!!
  9. Pick up your Neons Eyeshadow Palette and your Pointed Eyeshadow Kabuki Brush. Dip into the green and apply it as close to your waterline as possible.
  10. Do the same with the white.
  11. Now use your Hypoallergenic Eye Pencil – 301 Ecru on your waterline. This gives the illusion that your eyes are bigger.
  12. Take your Wild Cat Mascara and make those eyes pop by applying it only to your top Lash Line.

KIWI LIPS:

  1. For the lips we are going to do an ombre; Apply your Lip Crayon – 04 Dark Nude all over your lips.
  2. For the last time you're going to grab your Neons Eyeshadow Palette and apply the Dark green along the centre of your lips and blend it with your finger towards the corners of your mouth.
  3. Do the same with the light green, just don’t blend it as far as you blended the dark green.
  4. In the Centre of the light green, add a little bit of white.

Remember to set your entire look this hot summer with our Fixing Spray

I hope that these steps have been easy for you to follow! We are LOVING the fruity looks. It is so much fun and actually a lot easier to accomplish than I thought!

Xxx
